EPA files no objections to air quality permit;
Opponents appeal MN transmission permit

On June 9 the South Dakota Department of Minerals and Environment issued Big Stone Plant a new Title V (air quality) permit, tacitly approved by the EPA, given that the EPA let its 45-day review period lapse without issuing objections.    Read more >>>
