Steve Schultz
Steve is a 31-year Otter Tail Power Company veteran who actually began his company career at Big Stone Plant. He hired on as a laborer and, following his completion of training, became a plant electrician. He later served as an area manager and lobbyist. He is a native of Stockholm, South Dakota, just a stone's throw from the plant.
He says this is the most interesting and challenging project he has ever worked on. "I love working with communities across the region," he says. "It's important to educate our customers and neighbors about the need for Big Stone II. I'm committed to the project, and spreading my enthusiasm around is just plain fun."
Steve and his wife Nita live in Fergus Falls. They have three grown children and three grandchildren. Steve loves the outdoors and spends many hours woodworking and tackling home improvement projects around the house.
